WIIFM is central to all decision making by the consumer. We have to offer something that brings desirable value to their life or solve a problem they may be experiencing. If it is a service you might ask the customer, “What keeps you up at night when it comes to addressing the problem?”. Also asking “What solutions have you tried in the past and how did they work for you?” Asking the right questions helps determine if your solution will fit their needs. This is what product/market fit is all about. Any small business owner wants to be that “Go-To” business for their customers. If the customer is happy and satisfied with doing business with you, they very often tend to tell their family and friends so they can have that great “Customer Experience” with your business as well.
