Over the last several months, we’ve decided to take a break and then refocus on launching our tech startup. During that time, we’ve reconfigured our brand, image and messaging. Our mission remains the same, connecting Small Business to the communities that they serve. Also during that time, we have spent days and months on source code configuration and the UX/UI experience. We also looked at our original company name and decide to tweak it a bit. The goal was to grab a little piece of each potential customer’s mind and have them say “Aha!”. There are typically two “Aha” moments when a customer engages with a brand. The first is when they encounter your brand and they see the novelty of the offering and the second is when they can envision your brand being part of their “day in the life” experience.

From a brand standpoint, there a certain issues that are typically observed when it comes to encountering a brand:

  • It helps “humanize” the Business
  • It gives the business a personality
  • It gives it a story
  • It gives the business a “look & feel”
  • It gives the business a position in society beyond its products or services

In rebranding from Dealium to Dealsby, we took a long and hard look at how our customers, both consumers and small business owners, would envision using Dealsby in their day to day routine. We also created a Dealsby character. Dealsby is here to save the day and is there for you when you need to save time and money. Dealsby is a small business super hero and also helps save the consumer time and money searching for reputable small businesses that are easily referred by others. Dealsby will be there when you feel anxious and nervous about doing business because consumers are typically 4X more likely to buy from a business when it is referred by those they trust. Dealsby helps facilitate the referral transaction from great small businesses in the communities that they serve.

Branding will also help us create the following:

  • Our brand voice
  • Our brand’s values
  • Our marketing messaging
  • Our value proposition

As we finish up the last of the beta testing and prepare to start with the Awareness phase of launching a new tech business we will launch in what is referred to as a Node Strategy. Branding and Node Strategy focus on very small niche target customers and areas in order to gain a very satisfied audience which will allow us to achieve a more focused growth strategy. It has taken numerous conversations with potential customers to zero in on their pain points, without coaching, and determining what’s most important to them. Branding is everything we will do at Dealsby to create an exceptional customer experience. People tend to want to share with others when they feel the experience is pleasurable and feel others should also experience it as well.

Our launch goal is to start with the node strategy of introducing Dealsby to small independently owned restaurants and retail establishment in the DMA of Atlanta, GA. Once we start to gain traction with the aforementioned groups, we will introduce Dealsby to other DMAs such as Nashville, GA and other areas in the Southeast of the US. Dealsby will eventually be available in all States but a node launch strategy is how we will “cut our teeth”.

Please follow us as we prepare to launch Dealsby in Q1 of 2023. Even with the economy being as uncertain as it is, now is the time that small business owners need a viral marketing tool to help bring more customers into their small business. There are over 33 million small businesses operating in the U.S. and approximately 92% of those businesses rely on customer referrals for new business. We will be regularly updating our content as we prepare to introduce our new cloud and app-based referral marketing technology to the small business community. Stay tuned!
